On Saturday, April 29th, UIC hosted their annual “Open Day” which allows prospective students and parents to explore the many majors and programs the college has to offer, meet the professors and staff of each department, and speak with current students about their experiences here. Those in attendance at the GIR booth included Dr. Edoardo Monaco, GIR Programme Director and Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor Dr. Charles Wu, Instructor Ms. Emmy Lee, Teaching Assistant Ms. Elizabeth Rodewald, as well as Year 4 students Amber Wang and Shawn Deng. The newly revised curriculum for the 2017-2018 academic year was presented at the event as well as a newly designed brochure featuring the many aspects of the GIR programme including career prospects, study plan, tutoring schemes, company visits, guest lectures, and alumni profiles.
