在导师的指导下,学生确定一个可行的研究方向,搜集研究资料,随后敲定研究课题,阅读、评估及理解相关资料,然后写作、编辑、润色及最后展示毕业论文。该课题旨在为学生以下学习机会:

  1.  独立进行将学术理论应用到与其学科专业目标相关的学术研究
  2.  探究及深化学生独自完成研究课题的学术体验 
  3.  提高学生整体写作及研究技能 
  4.  提高学生的口语及展示能力

不同的专修要求不同形式的毕业论文:

  • 英语文学研习专修—与文学分析有关的学术研究论文
  • 专业英语传意专修—专业传意作品集
  • 英语教学专修—与应用英语学有关的学术研究文论文

此外,无论选择哪个专修,学生都可以选择完成职业领域研究作品集作为毕业论文。
